Sales of 4K TVs are picking up pretty fast and as the latest must-have the LG models pack in plenty of features including Ultra HD imagery and immersive surround sound design. There’s also LG's award-winning webOS smart platform driven by the firm’s own quad-core processor for fast apps and a strong viewing experience. This model supports 4K content with UHD and HDR for higher quality pictures if the content features those modes.
Another feature is the Bluetooth Surround Ready system, helping build a (mostly) wireless 3D stadium atmosphere, but those bits and the required magic remote are extras. You’ll also need a 300x300 wall mount if you want to place this on a wall and get rid of those minimalist stands.
The LG TV supports BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, YouTube and a range of LG Channels for high-quality content. Which you can choose while watching a current program, rather than having to dive into a series of other full screen menus.
There’s plenty of connectivity for other inputs with 2 USB ports and 3 HDMI sockets, plus component and composite sockets for older devices. There’s also an optical connection if you have an SP-DIF sound system and DLNA, Bluetooth and Ethernet for data connections.
