Apple put their W1 chip in the Beats models to add extra features and technology like the noise-cancellation they call Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling (Pure ANC) for better privacy. Connecting them to your phone or other device is simple and straightforward.
The build-quality feels solid, with the cans stuck to your head during regular workouts. WHile Apple and Beats go on a lot about design, they look good, and the design is lightweight, durable and comfortable.
You can take phone calls, move around playlists and control the volume or activate Siri using the multi-function on-ear controls. It manages to stretch the battery life for around 22 hours for almost all-day play, and they don’t take long to recharge.
In use the sound quality is good, but not audiophile quality. Some people with sharp hearing might feel that, but for most buyers they deliver a great sound, especially for modern music with plenty of bass and depth.
